Forthcoming Events

June promises good riding with the regular evening run and wrinkly run on 6th and 13th respectively. In addition there will be Derek’s Girder Fork run on Saturday 9th. This will be a route sheet run and starts from the Black Cat at Lye Green. So get your older machine fettled and give it a go. Then we can get together at the Black Cat on 20th to talk about our exploits.

Synopsis of Recent Events

Rod’s May wrinkly run again required some determination to face weather that could have been better. None the less 25 stalwarts turned out and enjoyed a lovely route north through the Chilterns then over the plains towards Buckingham taking in some very pretty villages on the way. Swinging by Stowe house and gardens, the lunch stop was eventually reached by the canal near Aynho. We were well looked after there and people then made their way south again to home territory. A good long day’s riding. The Try a Bike day was blessed with much better weather and a good turn out of riders enjoyed a great day experiencing unfamiliar machines.
